LEVI HEMINGWAY
Levi Hemingway is a highly experienced Director of Construction and Expansion who is responsible for overseeing every aspect of construction projects, from estimating build costs to coordinating with subcontractors, obtaining permits, inspections, quality control and purchasing.
With over 8 years of experience as a general contractor, Levi has demonstrated his exceptional skills in overseeing the renovation or ground-up development of over 150,000 square footage of commercial construction.
His specialty lies in transforming the functionality of existing facilities through conversions, effectively breathing new life into old buildings. His expert oversight and leadership have ensured that each project is completed successfully, on time, and within budget.
ERIK HEMINGWAY
Erik Hemingway is a name synonymous with quality, experience, and expertise in the field of construction. With a career spanning over two decades, Erik has emerged as an authority in the construction industry, having started his own construction company - Elm Builders - in the year 2001, at the young age of 30.
Hailing from a family with a background in construction, Erik's passion for building and construction runs deep. His career in construction started in 1995, where he began as a laborer. Over the years, he has gained significant experience in both residential and commercial construction, including ground-up construction. Having worked his way up the ranks, Erik’s knowledge and expertise in the field of construction are unparalleled. Today, he is recognized as an expert builder, known for his attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality.
As the founder and CEO of Elm Builders, Erik has built a company that embodies his values and ethos. Working with a team of highly skilled professionals, Erik and his team at Elm Builders are committed to delivering top-quality construction services that meet and exceed their clients' expectations.
JOHN SERVA
John Serva is an integral part of Elm Builders as its Senior Site Superintendent and Project Manager. He is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure that everything is executed according to plan. What sets John apart is his exceptional attention to detail, which is second to none. His keen eye for detail is crucial in ensuring that every aspect of a project is completed to the highest standard.
Since joining the team nearly two years ago, John has been instrumental in the exceptional growth and success that Elm Builders has experienced. His dedication to his work and unwavering commitment to delivering quality results has earned him the respect of his colleagues and clients alike.
RYAN BONO

We first met Ryan at one of our real estate meetups in Wilmington. His passion for construction and dedication to delivering high-quality work stood out to us immediately. Since joining Elm Builders, Ryan has already made a significant impact on our team. He has been instrumental in ensuring that our construction projects are on track, on budget, and he exemplifies the “whatever it takes” attitude.
Andrew Lewis
Andrew Lewis, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer within the conglomerate of companies in the Hemingway portfolio. Andrew assists the team by performing a plethora of tasks including but not limited to the development of operating budgets for the various divisions while preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate, up-to-date general ledgers. Prior to Elm Builders and Nomad, Andrew grew up in Ohio where he attended Cedarville College and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance. From there, he moved to NYC to become an integral part of expanding a young multimedia company called ImageDog for over a decade. His love of golf and entrepreneurial spirit brought him to Wilmington where he purchased and managed a local par-3 golf course. After the sale of the golf course, he pursued a career in Hydrographic Survey with a national dredging company, Weeks Marine, which later transitioned into a position as an Estimator in their corporate headquarters in Louisiana. Andrew’s next chapter in his life’s journey began with the Hemingways as their Area Manager in the storage division while learning the business from the ground up before taking on the challenges of the finance department.
KYLE Quittschreiber
Kyle Quittschreiber works in the financial department under the department head Drew Lewis. He started working for Nomad Capital in early Dec 2022. Kyle also manages the company's insurance operations and finds fulfillment in the amazing work environment and growth opportunities it offers. Before joining Nomad Capital, Kyle spent five years in the construction industry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and playing basketball on the weekends.
JORDON HARVEY
Jordon Harvey joined Elm Builders in October 2023 as a Site Supervisor. Having been in the Wilmington area for over ten years, Jordon will oversee local on-site activities and project development. Jordon's career in construction began with his work as an assistant to his father, who operates a successful electrician company in Oneonta, NY. Since then, he has worked as a welder/fabricator for Bradford Products in Leland, NC, where he was employed for over 6 years, specializing in fabricating stainless steel and providing job site coordination for out-of-town projects. For the past two years, he has worked as a subcontractor through Harvey Metal Works, a business he and his fiance' have operated from their home for the past two years.
Jordon has worked fabricating furniture and building components for the Elm Builders/Nomad Capital Market St office. He is thrilled to officially become a part of the Elm Builders team.
