City Storage Lexington
| Adaptive reuse of space
The Lexington project entailed converting the second story of a two story brewery to a state of the art, climate-controlled self-storage facility. We installed a passenger elevator which involved the partial interior demolition of the second floor concrete slab and reconstruction of structural components. The storage footprint is 33,000 square feet. The conversion of the upstairs took place while the brewery, Bull City Cider, remained fully operational. This was our fastest conversion project to date, taking only 10 months from closing on the property to opening the doors for business. This is our coolest conversion location wise and we are confident it will serve this community well.
